Covered Bridge Park:

Located between two historic covered bridges along the Jordan Creek, Covered Bridge Park serves as South Whitehall Township's premier community park. This park has a one of a kind playground, three picnic pavilions, baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, walking paths, a new one-of-a-kind boardwalk, a disc golf course and much more. The Jordan Creek is stocked with trout by the Pennsylvania Fish Commission multiple times throughout the year. With it's park amenities and beautiful scenery, you will quickly see why this park is so beloved. 

The Covered Bridge Playground:

In our effort to make South Whitehall the most unique and attractive place to live, work and play, we have constructed a one-of-a-kind 20,000+ square-foot community playground in Covered Bridge Park!  This playground has quickly become a staple in the community providing unique play features and a 2-5-year-old play area as well as a 5-12-year-old play area.  

The Township would like to recognize the following organizations and individuals who contributed to making this playground a reality for all residents: Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Nestle Purina, St Luke’s University Health Network, Barry Isett & Associates, Keystone Consulting Engineers, Spotts Stevens and McCoy, Michael Baker International, The Iron Pigs, Kona Ice, the Bazella Group, KSA&D, John & Virginia King, Cindy Pierosa, Edward Richards, Tracey Green, and the Tamerler Family.

Sport Fields:

Due to the heavy youth association usage of the sport fields at Covered Bridge Park, all rental inquiries must be made to the Parks & Recreation Manager, Lynn Matula matulal@southwhitehall.com
