Cetronia Volunteer Fire Department is located at 3950 Broadway, Allentown PA 18104. We operate 1 Engine company, 1 Rescue Engine, 1 Ladder Tower, and 1 Squad. We respond to about 500 calls a year ranging from vehicle accidents to working dwelling fires. Currently we have about 10-15 active volunteers dedicating time not only to running calls, but training, fire prevention, and house work. We meet every Monday night at 6 PM for our weekly drill. Stop by anytime the doors are open for a tour or an application.

Greenawalds Fire / Rescue is a 100% Volunteer Fire Department located in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA (just west of the City of Allentown). Comprised of about 35 active members, Greenawalds (Station 11) is one of three stations in South Whitehall Township. In addition to general fire suppression responsibilities, we are also responsible for all rescue operations within the confines of the 17.1 square mile township. We operate out of a single station which houses 2 Engines, a Heavy Rescue Truck, Tanker, Special Service Vehicle, boat with trailer, and a technical rescue trailer. The Chief is also assigned a Chevy Suburban to use.
We also host a number of community events throughout the year including our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Parade, and Santa Run! Greenawalds is always seeking new volunteers to serve the community they live in. Please contact us for more information.

A Charter was granted on Apr. 2, 1928 with 113 members. A grand opening of the social hall was held on Dec. 14, 1929. On Jan. 12, 1937 our first engine house was complete and on June 10, 1937 our first motorized piece of equipment was dedicated. A 1937 Hahn 350 GPM Pumper. This was the first enclosed cab in the Lehigh Valley area. In Nov. of 1975 we moved into our new engine house, which we still occupy today.
Today we are part of The South Whitehall Fire Dept. which has 4 stations, Cetronia on the South Side, Woodlawn in the middle, and Greenawalds on the North. Tri-Clover services the extreme north end of the township as well. We all proudly serve the residents of South Whitehall Township, PA as volunteers.
