The Yard Waste Drop-Off Site is located at 4444 Walbert Avenue.
It is for use by South Whitehall Township Residents ONLY.
**IMPORTANT** Residents must complete a Yard Waste Drop Off Application prior to using the site. Upon approval from the Township, you will receive a card providing you access to the new site.

Hours of Operation:
Fall & Winter Hours: (October 1 - March 31)
- Saturdays – (8:00am – 3:00pm)
Spring & Summer Hours: (April 1st – September 30)
- Tuesdays – (8:00am – 3:00pm)
- Thursdays – (8:00am – 3:00pm)
- Saturdays – (8:00am – 3:00pm)
Acceptable Items:
Recycling Containers are Available for the Following Items:
- Magazines And “Junk Mail”
- Mixed Office Paper
- Corrugated Cardboard (Please flatten)
- Cardboard (Tissue Boxes, Cereal Boxes, Gift Boxes, Pizza Boxes, Paper Bags and Wrapping)
- Glass
- All Plastic Containers Labeled #1 through #7
- Metal – Aluminum Foil and Foil Plates, Metal Lids, Beer and Soda Cans
Acceptable Yard Waste Material:
- Tree trimmings (Up to 8″ in diameter and 4′ in length)
- Shrubbery, Hedge Trimmings and Prunings
- Garden Waste (Weeds, Tomato Plants, etc.)
Unacceptable Items:
- Leaves
- Grass Clippings / Ornamental Grass (Note: There in now a special dumpster for grass / ornamental grass. Please see the attendant upon arrival for further instructions.)
- Sod
- Whole Trees Larger than 8″ Diameter X 4′ Length
- Tree Roots
- Rocks / Stones
- Dirt
- Bricks
- Household Trash
- Lumber
- Fence Posts
- Pine Cones
- Pumpkins / Gourds
- Corn Stalks
- Hay / Straw
Other Rules and Guidelines:
- No Contractor Dumping
- Residents are limited to a maximum load equivalent to a pickup truck 8’ bed, or a trailer; 6’ x 8’ trailer pulled by a car or car/SUV per day.
