Pavilion Rental Information: 

Residents: $85.00 (all day rental)     Non-Residents: $150.00 (all day rental)

The Covered Bridge Park Pavilion Rental season is from April to the end of October. During those months, you must make a reservation to have sole use of any pavilion. During the winter, pavilions are first come, first serve. Our pavilions are a great location for all of your events needs, including Company picnics and trainings or Organizational meetings! 

Pavilion reservations are ONLINE! See real-time availability, then make your reservation and payment all from the convenience of your home! If you do not wish to make your payment with a credit card, you must reserve with a paper application (See instructions below). Reservations can only be made for the current calendar year, and open the first business day in January each year.

  • We do not permit rentals to have a bounce houses or access to the Water Spickets. Dunk Tanks must be filled by Fire Companies.

How to Reserve a Pavilion:

See real-time Pavilion availability, then make your reservation and payment all online! Reservations are for the current year only. All Park Rules and Regulations apply to any and all rentals. DRIVING ON THE WALKING PATH IS PROHIBITED. Animals MUST BE LEASHED in the Park and all recreational areas at all times. 

• To Reserve ONLINE (Credit Card Payment):
  • Create an account or Login to your existing account in our Online Portal
  • Click "Facilities" in the top navigation, then choose "Pavilions"
  • Click the green "Reserve" button to choose your date in the facility calendar
  • Checkout!
    • Print the Invoice and bring with you the day of your rental
• To Reserve by Check Payment (In-person):
  • Call 610-398-0401 ext. 223 to confirm availability and put a date on HOLD.
  • Rental Application and Payment due within 1 week of HOLD.
    • HOLDS will be removed after 1 week.
    • Payments in person must be credit card (manually entered), check or money order (cash not accepted).
    • Mail Applications & Payments to: the South Whitehall Township building (4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, PA 18104). Open Monday- Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please help us maintain our Park!

• Place all trash in proper receptacles. 
• Please check the area around the pavilion before and after your reservation. 
• Remove any decorations that have been placed on the pavilion or the picnic tables. 
• Return the tables to their original locations. 
• Keep amplified music to a minimum so not to disturb other park visitors and park neighbors. 
• Your cooperation and help is greatly appreciated!

Pavilion Descriptions: 

Mary Ann Bungerz Pavilion (Pavilion #1)
This is the pavilion closest to the Playground and restrooms, and is perfect for groups of 50 or less. The Bungerz Pavilion is the only pavilion that has electrical outlets (four). This pavilion also has 8 picnic tables and 1 grill and is in high demand so make sure you book it early!

Bill Derricott Pavilion (Pavilion #2)
If you are looking for some privacy while still being somewhat close to the Playground and restroom this pavilion is for you! Located east of the Mary Ann Bungerz Pavilion, the Bill Derricott Pavilion overlooks the beautiful Jordan Creek, so make sure you bring your fishing tackle!  This is the next closest pavilion to the Playground and restrooms. This pavilion is perfect for groups of 75 or less and comes equipped with 12 tables and 1 grill. This pavilion does not have electric. This pavilion also books quickly, reserve early!  

Pavilion #3 
Looking for something more private? Do you have a large group or planned family reunion?  This is the perfect pavilion for you!  Located along the creek deep in the eastern part of the park, not far from the footbridge, this pavilion is in close proximity to baseball fields and the Covered Bridge Park disc golf course. Pavilion #3 has 16 tables and 1 grill and is recommended for groups of 100 or less.
