This new section will take you from Wehr Mill Road to Route 309, following along the Jordan Creek.  Currently, there is no access point from Rt. 309.  To access the trail, we kindly ask that you park in the Covered Bridge Park parking lot near Wehr Dam, or on Wehr Mill Road.  Happy hiking!

 

Whats Next?

The Township has received funding through the Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) Program to construct another 1-mile section of trail through Covered Bridge Park. This project is working through the final approval process to be constructed in 2024!

The Vision…

Upon completion, the entire Jordan Creek Greenway trail will traverse through several municipalities and connect many community parks including: Jordan Park, Jordan Creek Parkway, Covered Bridge Park and the Trexler Nature Preserve. The Township is currently working with Wildlands Conservancy and our neighboring municipalities on a strategic management plan for this Greenway.
