Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of South Whitehall Township will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. in the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, for the following zoning appeal:
ZHB-2024-08: The appeal of Signature Sign Inc. for Cedar Union Church & Cemetery Assoc., seeking a special exception (or other appropriate form of approval) to authorize an existing ground mount sign to include a portion for an electronic message board in accordance with Places of Worship Section 350-48(p)(4)(E)(i)(3)(a) and (b), and the Signs Use Schedule, Section 350-48(s)(10)(E)(x)(3)(b) through (l). ZHB-2024-11: The appeal of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inc., seeking a Special Exception and/or Variance in accordance with the Sign Use Schedule Section 350-350-48(s)(10)(E)(xiii) for Additional On-Premises Signs for Nonresidential Use In Residential Districts and subject to the sign criteria in Section 350-48(s)(10)(E)(x) for Additional On-Premises Signs for Establishments Separated By Setbacks, and Section 350-16(d) the Special Exception criteria, to allow for a painted mural type sign inspired by the Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital on the existing water tower structure on lands located within South Whitehall Township. All appellants, or their representative with legal standing, must attend. All objectors and interested parties are invited to attend and will have the opportunity to be heard.
