SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of South Whitehall will hold a special meeting on MONDAY, April 17, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, to deliberate and render a final decision with regard to the following zoning appeal:
ZHB-2022-10: In the case of Moyer Construction, LLC, whereby the applicant seeks a Favorable Interpretation from Section 350-23(b), Uses Not Specifically Listed, Similar Uses, which permits the Zoning Hearing Board to determine that a proposed Used not listed in the Zoning Ordinance is sufficiently similar in character and impact to that of a listed Use so that the proposed Use may be treated the same as the listed Use. The Applicant seeks a Favorable Interpretation pursuant to Section 350-23(b) that a Sober Living Residence is sufficiently similar in character and impact to an Assisted Living Residence which is a permitted Use in the R5 Zoning District. The subject property is located at 3599 Broadway and is zoned R5 Medium Density Residential District. Tax ID No. 548643493992-1.
The Zoning Hearing Board previously held hearings on this matter on December 01, 2022, December 29, 2022, January 05, 2023, January 31, 2023, February 09, 2023, and February 14, 2023. The record in this matter is now closed, and the Zoning Hearing Board will be meeting on MONDAY, APRIL 17, 2023, for the purpose of deliberating in an executive session of the Board and voting on a final decision in public session immediately thereafter.
