SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD

 

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of South Whitehall will hold a meeting on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, for the following zoning appeals:

 

ZHB-2023-02: The Appeal of Joan L. Caton seeking a Special Exception approval for a Low Impact Home Based Business located at 4229 Oakleigh Road pursuant to Section 350-48(h)(4) and Section 350-16(d) of the Codified South Whitehall Township Zoning Ordinance. The Applicant seeks to relocate an existing business Joanieā€™s Puppy Palace to operate a dog grooming business from her primary residence in an attached single car garage. The subject property is zoned R-4 (Medium Density Residential). Tax ID No. 547694297995-1.

 

ZHB-2023-03: The Appeal of 1347 Hausman LLC and Jerry Knafo seeking dimensional variance of 67 feet for approval of the placement of a freestanding sign to be located at 1347 Hausman Road and erected within the required 100 feet distance of the Right-of-Way Line of a limited access highway pursuant to Section 350-48(s)(10)(E)(vii)(4) of the Codified South Whitehall Township Zoning Ordinance where the Applicant proposes a 33 foot setback from the Right of Way Line of PA Route 309. The subject property is zoned HC (Highway Commercial). Tax ID No. 547750395246-1.

 

The above-referenced properties are located in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Copies of any plans, applications, and/or supporting documents that were submitted can be available for public inspection at the Township Building during normal business hours where they may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof (it is recommended that appointments be made in advance).
