SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP

 

Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of South Whitehall Township will conduct Public Hearings on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2022, at 7:00 P.M., and THURSDAY, JANUARY 5, 2023, at 7:00 P.M., in the South Whitehall Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Ave, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, for the following zoning appeal:

 

ZHB-2022-10: In the Case of Moyer Construction LLC, the Zoning Hearing Board will meet on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2022, at 7:00 P.M., to discuss and consider the appointment of a Hearing Officer due to issues relating to the ability to obtain a quorum during the months of January and February of 2023; and hereby announces THURSDAY, JANUARY 5, 2023, at 7:00 P.M., as the continued date and time of the hearing first held on December 01, 2022, in which Moyer Construction LLC will resume seeking a Favorable Interpretation from Section 350-23(b), Uses Not Specifically Listed, Similar Uses, where the Zoning Hearing Board may determine that a proposed Use is sufficiently similar in character and impact to that of a listed Use and that the proposed Use may be treated the same as the listed Use. The Applicant seeks a determination pursuant to Section 350-23(b) that a Sober Living Residence is sufficiently similar in character and impact to the permitted Use of an Assisted Living Residence which is permitted in the R5 Zoning District.  The subject property is located at 3599 Broadway and is zoned R5 Medium Density Residential District.  Tax ID No. 548643493992 1.

 

The above-referenced property is in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.  Copies of any plans, applications, and/or supporting documents that were submitted can be available for public inspection at the Township Building during normal business hours where they may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof (it is recommended that appointments be made in advance). All appellants, or their representative with legal standing, must attend. All objectors and interested parties are invited to attend and will have the opportunity to be heard.
