South Whitehall Township is taking the invasion of the spotted lanternfly very seriously. The township is putting together an Eradication Plan that involves a lot of effort both within the township and from YOU as a resident! The Township will be hosting Public Meetings informing the residents about the invasive species and how they can help. Then to further assist the residents in their efforts the Township will be hosting some workshops throughout the year. These workshops will help to educate residents through a more hands on approach about how they can control the spotted lanternfly outbreaks on their properties and help a community effort to reduce these pests and stop their spread in Pennsylvania. Please check back here for more details as they are released and we hope to see you join in on the effort!
