Public Notice for the November 20, 2019 Board of Commissioners Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of South Whitehall Township will meet in the auditorium of the Springhouse Middle School located at 1200 Springhouse Road, Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday November 20, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of conducting a public hearing and possible Conditional Use approval of the following project:

REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE REVIEW

An application to develop the properties located at Huckleberry Road PIN 548746422139 (111.18 acres), Huckleberry Road PIN 548767544734 (4.72 acres), 2523 Huckleberry Road PIN 548767273685 (1.51 acres), 2582 Huckleberry Road PIN 548757625489 (12.10 acres), and an approximately 6-acre portion of 1802 North Cedar Crest Boulevard under the TND-Residential Cluster Overlay District.  The plan proposes a TND Residential Cluster development on approximately 138.34 acres consisting of 68 single dwelling units, 88 age-restricted single dwelling units, 74 two-unit dwelling units, 82 age-restricted two-unit dwelling units, and a clubhouse; 308 apartment units in eleven 28-unit apartment buildings, five condominium apartment buildings containing 60 apartment units,  two three-story and two four-story mixed-use buildings containing 27,200 square feet of commercial and restaurant space on the first floor and 100 apartments above, two one-story 5,000 square-foot commercial restaurant buildings, one 30,000 square-foot medical office, and a community clubhouse; stormwater management facilities and approximately 44.065 acres of open space, of which at least 16.06 acres is active open space.  The TND Residential Cluster is proposed to be served by public water and sewer.  Kay Walbert LLC is the owner.  Kay Builders is the applicant.

Copies of plans, applications and supporting documents are available for public inspection at the Township Municipal Building located at 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, PA 18104 during normal business hours, where they may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
