Civil Service Commission consists of three (3) members and two (2) alternates who are qualified electors of South Whitehall Township and are appointed by the Board of Commissioners for terms of six years.
The Civil Service Commission is responsible for rules regulating the hiring and promotion of police officers and establishing procedures through which the Civil Service Commission will operate.
