Fall Foliage Fun – Thursday, September 14th (6:00pm)
Autumn is right around the corner! We’re going to explore habitats to discover how both flora and fauna are preparing for approaching cold weather. Dress for the weather. Hot cocoa after our hike. Pavilion #1. Enter through the main park entrance. Cost is $5.00.
Raptor Migration – Thursday, October 12th (6:00pm)
Meet one of our live raptors and learn about the perils of migration. We’ll take a stroll to observe the skies to see who is passing overhead. Dress for the weather. Hot cocoa after our hike. Pavilion #1. Enter through the main park entrance. Cost is $5.00.
Hoody Hoot Hike – Thursday, November 9th (7:30pm)
Discover the night sounds of Covered Bridge Park and get close and personal with one of our education owls. Join us for a short walk to call some local owl species. Bring a headlamp or flashlight. Pavilion #1. Enter through main park entrance. Cost is $5.00
LIVE Animal Presentation and Animal Tracking Walk – Saturday, January 13th (12:00pm)
Enjoy an up close meet and greet with live native Pennsylvania species. Then join our expert tracker to learn what the resident wildlife of Covered Bridge Park is up to. After our walk, we will warm up with some hot cocoa! Cost is $5.00.
Family Snowshoeing – Saturday, February 3rd (12:00pm)
Join us for a snowshoe trek through Covered Bridge Park to enjoy the tranquil snow-covered scenery. Warm up with hot cocoa after this naturalist guided experience. Snowshoes provided. Cost is $5.00.
