Yearly maintenance of the South Whitehall Township Authority’s water system requires water line flushing of the entire system.  The Utility Department will begin flushing fire hydrants throughout the Township starting Monday, June 5th and continuing until the end of November.  This work will be completed between the hours of 8am and 3pm, Monday through Friday.The annual flushing of water mains, via fire hydrants, is a standard practice in the water industry.  Pipe flushing is done to im… Read More…
